On our way home from exploring Geelbek and Abrahamskraal bird hides, we stumbled upon this awesome sighting and experience of a 2 caracal in the West Coast National Park, South Africa.
The one caracal sitting in the road was calling his/her mate to cross the road. We waited patiently for 10 minutes for the mate to build up the courage to cross the road.
Their timing was perfect as the warm light from the setting sun helped to illuminate them perfectly. What an amazing end to yet another great day spent on the West Coast of the beautiful country that we call home.
