Our main aim on this hiking holiday was to hike the Wolfberg Arch, but unfortunately the route was closed due to a recent fire that ravaged the area in December 2016.
There are many other beautiful routes to hike in the Cederberg and the Maltese Cross (Dwarsrivier) is one not to be missed.
In the image above is our first stop since we left our cars at the start of the hike. If you look carefully you can see the path and a white spot in the image, which is where we parked our cars. The entire route is easy and no scrambling takes place.

Our second stop en route was for a quick snack to fuel up for the last stretch to the top.
This iconic destination is a must for any person visiting this area. The entire return route was about 8 km far and took us 3-4 hours to complete.
